PayWut — a fun, fast-paced local company based in Salt Lake City — is looking for a Customer Service + Shipping Associate to join our team!

We sell online and host weekly online auctions where every bid starts at just $2, and we ship items all across the country. Every day is a mix of helping customers, managing orders, and making sure everything ships out on time. If you’re friendly, organized, and love getting things done, this might be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Chat, email, or talk with customers to help solve questions or issues
  
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges
  
• Package, label, and ship items accurately and efficiently
  
• Coordinate with our warehouse and fulfillment team
  
• Track shipments and troubleshoot delivery issues
  
• Keep accurate records to ensure smooth operations
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Positive, helpful attitude
  
• Experience in customer service, order processing, or shipping (we’ll train the right person)
  
• Clear communication skills (written + verbal)
  
• Comfortable using tools like Shopify, Veeqo, Eliteworks or similar
  
• Reliable, organized, and proactive — you take pride in your work

• Schedule: Full-time Hours 7 AM to 3:30 PM (Miss rush hour)

Who We Are

PayWut is primarily an online discount store where our inventory is always changing. We quickly liquidate our products giving the purchaser the best price. We hold auctions on a weekly basis that all start at $1-$2. You can find anything between food, clothing, and a car engine on our website.

We are located in North Salt Lake City, Utah.

Warehouse Associate Role Overview

The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, processing, listing and shipping inventory.  The successful candidate will work with a team of 2-5 colleagues, and will ensure warehoused inventory is stocked, organized, picked, and shipped timely and efficiently. 

Pay and Benefits

• $14/hr or more depending on work experience. 
• Performance reviews every 6 months; eligible for pay raises if successfully meeting metrics.

Responsibilities Include

• Receive, count, and process new inventory
• Compare inventory received with packing slip.  Identify, resolve, and report discrepancies.  
• Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity
• Organize existing and incoming inventory
• Conduct and record inventory cycle counts.  Fix or escalate discrepancies to warehouse leadership.
• Inspect inventory conditions, and report damage or problems to warehouse leadership
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and/or pick up according to schedule
• Package items for shipment and delivery
• Print shipping labels and stage items for pickup
• Adhere to work area organization and cleanliness standards
• Adhere to established work methods, safety policies, and standard operating procedures
• Drive and maintain sitdown and standup forklifts.

Requirements And Skills

• Attention to detail as you are the last one to handle an item before it is delivered to a customer.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull inventory weighing 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and reach repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to drive sitdown and standup forklifts
• Proficiency with typing and computer keyboard skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 40 hours a week
• Schedule is Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Other duties as required or assigned
