The Zebra ST5500-SR01000SSNA Transition Point RFID Reader combines an FX7500 fixed reader with 4 antennas in a single package, enabling customers to track inventory and assets as they move through entry/exit points across the enterprise. Simply Mount the transition point to the ceiling, and run a single ethernet cable that uses POE to power the system and you are good to go.
Where standard RFID readers detect the presence of a tagged item, this specially designed ready-to-use reader utilizes industry-leading advanced RFID technology to not only track items on the move, but to also determine whether items are entering or leaving an area.

Note:All of the above items are pre-installed/packed in the casing so no hookup is necessary. Simply hookup a POE (Power over Ethernet) enabled ethernet cable to the reader and mount to the ceiling.
