The Delta Commercial Steam Automatic Blowdown Tempering Valve (Model: 5COM-GA-021) is installed directly into the drain line of a commercial steam boiler or generator to temper hot blowdown water by injecting cold tap water whenever temperatures exceed 120°F (49°C), eliminating the need for a bulky blowdown tank.
